Prevarication or just another lie

Grab the latest ALPA magazine for Jan/Feb 2010 and turn to page 22. It is the article on American Eagle and read the very last paragraph.
This is what it says: Indeed, this pilot group has some of the U.S. airline industry's most senior and experienced pilots."We are pleased that management has finally acknowledged that pilot experience is the single most valuable asset of its pilot workforce, and not a cost item on a balance sheet that should be targeted for cuts," Ryter says.

Refer to the back page of this website and read the two articles, Planning for the Future and Labor Leaders talk about the Plan to Win. The first article is Andrew Nordgren, MEC Negotiating Committee Chairman talking about "reducing the average seniority of the Eagle pilot group" and the second article is Dave Ryter, who above said that "pilot experience is the single most valuable asset of its pilot workforce" supporting management's Longevity Initiative.
Remember the Longevity Initiative; that was the scheme cooked up by ALPA and management to remove 500 senior pilots from the Eagle pilot workforce.
The same pilots who now are the single most valuable asset. So Ryter says.
Then and now - two different stories.
You trust ALPA with 2013?
Good Luck to you.
